I’ll admit it: I’m a Bloomingdales addict. Once, I was horrified when I went to the Bloomingdales’ Lancome counter for the second weekend in a row, only to encounter the same freelance makeup artist. He recognized me, and gravely told me that I had a serious shopping problem.
But really, one of my favorite things about going to Bloomingdales (at 59th and Lex, that is) isn’t even about the shopping. It’s about lunching at 40 carrots on the 7th floor.
Not only is the bright, modern space absolutely adorable, they have really fresh, healthy options like an amazing Greek chopped salad or a very-little-mayo tuna salad. I’m also kind of in love with their chicken noodle soup.
Of course, they’re best known for their frozen yogurt–the coffee flavor is to die for. (Hilarious side note here: Millionaire Matchmaker Loses it at 40 Carrots.)
If you ever need a quick shopping break, or just want a refreshingly fresh lunch, I’d definitely suggest 40 Carrots. I can’t stop myself from going every week!
