So thanks to Sony, we’re now bloggers equipped with Bloggies. The result? Video diaries of our outings in New York and beyond! We’d never even opened our iMovie software on our Macs before this, but now we’re hooked! It was so fun and easy making our mini movie… we’ll definitely be doing it again. We hope you enjoy it!
On Saturday our lovely friend and Calgel trainee Keiko offered to do gel nails for us. Renee’s white and pink half-moons were demure and professional, while Rebecca’s blue glitter fade-outs with silver crystals bordered on psychotic. Haha! Seriously, they sparkle in the light so much, they’re blinding. But in a GOOD WAY.
Then it was off to Soho for some quick afternoon shopping! We stopped at Kate’s Paperie, MAC, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and the Helmut Lang/Theory pop-up shop. Rebecca ended up with a pair of easy black flow-y pants and a tribal necklace from 3.1 Phillip Lim. She can’t wait to wear both of them. In fact, she almost did to a bar that night, but Renee insisted that they were both “Man Repeller” items: stylishly hot, but not hot hot! Renee tried on a fabulous pair of Helmut Lang pants (haha, pretty comparable to Rebecca’s… have you noticed we always end up in different variations of the same outfit?!), but shuddered at the price tag. No, Renee isn’t just trying to save money, she’s saving for a Celine bag!
Oh, and if you want amazing nails too, email Keiko here.
