For Thanksgiving, I went to Cafe Boulud at The Surrey with a friend. SO amazing. The food and service were exceptional, and the older crowd made for a nice change of pace. Also nice to go somewhere in my neighborhood… seems like I’m always running downtown for dinner!
It was great to have an excuse to dress up. I wore an old Temperley dress, Aldo booties, and my new Lanvin for H&M blazer (yay!).
I also got my first chance to wear my cream mink scarf/collar. I bought it for $3 (!!!) at a thrift store in Chicago and backed it with satin. I had forgotten my love of thrifting… haven’t been because of the big New York City bedbug scare. But now I’m thinking that that could be the perfect Black Friday option for me… maximum fashion at a minimal cost!
