I just finished watching “The Fashion Fund,” the TV documentary which shows the behind-the-scenes of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition. Fine jewelry designer Marc Alary was one of the runner-ups for the fund, and I totally fell in love with him while watching the show. A little shy, very hard-working, and SUPER talented (not to mention adorable), he was definitely one of my favorite designers in the competition. He was previously Marc Jacobs’ graphics and jewelry designer, and I’ve never quite seen fine jewelry the way he does it—whimsical but still super luxe. I would buy all of his pieces if I could! My favorite piece might just be the double monkey necklace, with two little monkeys fighting over a yellow sapphire banana. I totally want that yellow sapphire too, guys!
