I wasn’t really treating my body properly for a long time–I love indulging in French fries, and diet Coke is my addiction–but for the past few months, I’ve really been focusing on getting myself fit and healthy. My boyfriend is all about a healthy lifestyle and introduced me to these morning smoothies. They’re absolutely delicious and easy to whip up in the morning. Wanted to share the recipe with all of you–it’s an amazing way to start your day, especially if it’s following a quick workout!
Put these in your blender in this order:
-One cup water
-One scoop Sunwarrior vegan protein powder – chocolate
-1/2 scoop of Green Vibrance (concentrated green superfood – tastes pretty awful on its own but totally fine in the shake. Its one of of the most nutrient dense things you could put in your body!)
-Sprinkle of chia seeds
-Cinnamon (to taste)
-1 capful of fulvic acid (amazing for your digestive system – helps your body absorb energy-rich nutrients and process vitamins, minerals, and herbs)
-1/2 frozen banana
-1 cup frozen or fresh berries – I use blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries (if not frozen, add a small handful of ice)
Blend and enjoy! These set me straight for healthy eating all day and really make me feel great. They give you energy, are super filling, and I swear has helped get my skin glowy and even-toned. I can’t imagine starting my day without one!
