There is a very good reason why I refuse to leave New York—the food. More specifically, the desserts. How could you leave all of these wonderfully cute and delicious treats behind? There are so many specific niche dessert places… for example, there is actually a shop called the Doughnuttery that sells artisan doughnuts. With all of the choices, it seems I have to have dessert with every meal. Most nights, I grab a couple of mini cupcakes from Baked by Melissa or have some tea and Sarabeth’s jam. I recently discovered Treat House, that offers a variety of rice krispies squares(!) with different themes. The cutest is definitely the dubble bubble one. My coworkers got a huge case of them from a vendor… I was jealous so I had to eat steal some for an afternoon snack. It’s okay though, they grabbed some of our holiday brownies in return!
